Lisa Sellman graduated from Massage Therapy in 1992 in Sioux Falls, SD.  She became interested in massage after a family vacation to Hot Springs, AK when she was 12 and had her first massage.  Island Time Massage & Reiki is owned by Lisa and her husband, Bob.  Bob helps at the studio when possible with foot detox.  They enjoy travelling when not at the studio and have fun at the holidays by playing Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

Having a massage shouldn't break the bank.  Unlike other massage studios, extras don't need to cost extra.  Hot Towels, Hot Stones, and Essential Oils are all included.  We give the clients two options, Organic Coconut Oil or an unscented massage lotion.  We have essential oils in the diffuser in the reception room and a Himilayan salt lamp in the massage room.

Swedish and Deep Tissue

Swedish Massage - Swedish is the most common and what most people are familiar with.  It is a light touch and helps to get any discomfort out of the body.

Deep Tissue - This massage will really help any tight muscles that you may have or shoulder knots.  I don't continue with deep unless you want me to, usually I switch so you don't get soar.

Hot Stone & Lomi Lomi

Hot Stone - I love using Hot Stones especially on tired shoulders or lower back pain.  The stones are not too hot, so don't worry.  They help to make the muscles more pliable and you will feel great afterwards.

Lomi Lomi - This is a Hawaiian Massage that is very relaxing.  Long, luxurious strokes.
